At Airblack, we’re not just transforming careers, we’re revolutionizing the beauty industry. On September 29, 2024, we had the privilege of hosting India’s largest-ever beauty graduation ceremony at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi. With over 800 graduates from more than 300 cities, this event marked a monumental step forward in our mission to empower aspiring makeup artists and beauty entrepreneurs across the country.

The energy at the event was electric as we celebrated the hard work and dedication of our graduates, who have completed Airblack’s cutting-edge, learn-from-anywhere makeup programs. These programs have been instrumental in turning dreams into reality—equipping thousands of women with professional makeup skills that allow them to build successful careers on their own terms.

A Star-Studded Affair with Shraddha Naik

The event was graced by none other than Shraddha Naik, a renowned celebrity makeup artist who has worked with Bollywood icons like Shraddha Kapoor, Ananya Panday, and Alia Bhatt. Her keynote speech left everyone inspired. She praised the graduates for their incredible talent and highlighted Airblack’s role in shaping the next generation of beauty professionals. “Witnessing the talent gathered here is truly inspiring. Airblack has nurtured a powerhouse of artists who will undoubtedly shape the future of India’s beauty industry,” said Naik.

From Learning to Earning: Real Stories of Success

What makes Airblack’s graduation ceremony more than just a celebration is the real success stories behind it. Over 70% of this batch has already embarked on their entrepreneurial journey, turning their passion for beauty into thriving businesses. From freelancing in makeup, hair styling, and nail art to launching salons or becoming content creators—our graduates are making waves in the beauty world.
Our ‘do-it-together’ learning model is designed not just to teach makeup but to foster business acumen. These programs empower our learners to not only master their craft but to also thrive as entrepreneurs. We are proud to witness how our programs are helping women across the country build financial independence and pursue their dreams.

A Word from Our CEO, Videt Jaiswal

Reflecting on the success of the ceremony, Videt Jaiswal, Founder & CEO of Airblack, shared his vision: “This event is a significant milestone, not just for Airblack, but for the future of education in India. Over the past few years, Airblack’s learn-and-earn programs have empowered over 35,000 women to become entrepreneurs. Our programs are redefining the future of work, and we are thrilled to be creating a lasting impact in the lives of women every single month.”

Looking to the Future: New Initiatives for Airblack Graduates

But the celebration doesn’t stop here. As part of our continued commitment to supporting our alumni, we launched several new initiatives aimed at helping our graduates achieve even greater success. These include content creation gig opportunities worth INR 10 Lacs and social media advertising support to help graduates expand their client base locally. Additionally, graduates will now have access to industry mentorship through the Airblack app, giving them the tools and guidance they need to navigate the ever-evolving beauty industry.

At Airblack, we believe in the power of education to transform lives. Our graduates are a testament to that, and we are incredibly proud to be part of their journey.
