The company will use the funds to accelerate the expansion of ‘Beauty Club’, launching new ‘clubs’ and investing in products, engineering and brand, founder Videt Jaiswal said.
The funding round also saw participation from Atelier Ventures, founded by Li Jin, former partner at Andreessen Horowitz. The company had raised $1.5 million in seed funding in April 2019, in a round led by Elevation Capital.
Founded in 2019 by Pulkit Pujara and Jaiswal, Airblack helps micro-entrepreneurs and creators by giving them access to DIT (do-it-together) courses from curated experts.
Curated experts present these courses live in a workshop format.
